“Star Drift” is a new body of work I’m in the process of making: the initial collection will consist of 12 hand-crafted artefacts made of stone, wood and “time” – and is based on the 12 Zodiac constellations.
Over 10 years in the making (well, a million, if you count the stone!) this is a deeply personal response to living by the coast where I have been gathering beautiful silvery slate and schist, driftwood “waves”, frozen in time, and becoming more familiar with the rhythms of the moon, the tides and the night sky.
