“The Fairy Pools – Early Morning Ice” is an original oil painting on panel, framed in a hand-finished wooden box frame. The Fairy Pools on Skye are famous as some of the most picturesque cascading pools in Scotland – though on this particular visit they were frozen solid and the sky was clear and bright – making this painting quite an unsual depiction. Part of the Cuillin Range can be seen in the background.
