Oil painting on aluminium – scratched to remove layers of paint and reveal intricate reflective wave patterns. The inspiration for this painting is the view of the Kintyre Peninsula from Blackwaterfoot on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, on a gorgeous July day.
A tall ship was on the horizon. The reflective quality of this artwork brings a dynamism to the piece with changing light conditions effecting the appearance of the sea. Unframed.
